The philosophy is to be a people-centred trainer, and the key to its success is that both client and trainer feel comfortable with each other. This will serve as a starting point in a relationship that relies on trust, honesty and self-development. Meeting for an informal coffee and chatting through potential goals, lifestyle choices and any concerns, is always a great start.

Consultation

This is where all the information regarding the client is recorded. This involves a full understanding of the client’s objectives, availability and both short- and long-term goals. During this process the client’s vital statistics will be taken, including blood pressure, body weight, circumferences, body water %, body fat %, body mass index (BMI), visceral fat, muscle mass, muscle quality, bone mass, metabolic age, and will finish with a basal metabolic rate (BMR) recommendation. Lastly, is fitness and mobility testing. Once all this personal data is recorded it is then possible to develop a bespoke training program.

One to One Session

Depending on your goals and objectives, you will be motivated, guided and encouraged through your bespoke training session. During this time the trainer is constantly assessing and reassessing the clients progress so that adaptions can be made to further tailor make the program. Preferences and ability levels will be considered during these sessions. With all that said, from the trainer’s point of view the client’s objectives must met, but it’s also about having fun and enjoying it.
